I knit these for my future husband as a gift on our wedding day. It was risky knitting a pair of socks without him trying them on even once, but using the sizing method recommended in the fish lips heel, they turned out perfect.

I gave them to him the night before our wedding and he loved them. Somehow, even with my making up a story that I wanted to measure our feet for the “next time I knit one of us socks”, and accidentally posting a picture of me knitting them as my Facebook profile pic about a month before the wedding, he still had no idea!

He wore them the day of, and although they got super worn out on their first wear, I think he’ll get a lot of good use out of them, and it was such a fun gift to give him.

The socks coordinated with my turquoise wedding shoes, and the photographer got a few shots -- I’m hoping some good ones! But for now, we get cell phone pics.
