Beautiful pattern!!! I tried to use just the condensed version of the instructions, but there are a few tiny details left out, so that set of instructions should really be used for someone making the square for the second (or third or fourth) time. I love the way Shan’s patterns unfold. This square would be best worked with at least 4 colors, but I wanted to try it in 3 to fit in with my afghan for Ali.

I am a tight crocheter, so I automatically used a bigger hook…. I should have just stuck with an I hook because I ended up having to do the last round in sc to end up at 12”.
