I’m knitting this sock as a sample for the Intarsia Christmas Stocking Class I will be teaching at Knit & Knot, in Bettendorf, IA.

The pattern has a vintage feel, just like the Christmas stockings my grandmother knit for all of her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren.

After the classes are over, I will give this stocking to my husband, who has requested some personalization in the form of Christmas bears (?). Stay tuned…
