3/15 When I saw this Cowl I fell in love and ran scared at the same time. LOL! This pattern presented not 1 but 2 techniques that I had convinced myself I couldn’t do: working from a chart and color work. Well I am doing it! It’s slow going, but it’s going none the less!!

3/19 I feel like I’ve been knitting forever with no progress. Patience

3/22 I am on row 29 and I have finally gotten a groove. I totally dig watching this unfold. So happy I jumped in and ignored my self doubt!

3/26 I just completed the first chart. I am so very proud of my progress. A friend suggested I try 2 hand knitting to avoid the tangles and such. I was able to do that technique but my issue is my tension when I knit continental sucks..so it was a noticeable difference in my stitches.

3/31 I sat up all night and I finally finished!! I am so very proud of myself. I learned two new techniques, woot woot! Go me! Madelinetosh always delivers, I am a huge fan of her yarns and I worked with multiple weights. Good stuff!

The pattern was good once I read the notes of others to see you have to start with the second chart. Once I block it I will post better pics
