Pleated Ballet Flats by Julie Weisenberger
Needle and yarn
US 8 - 5.0 mm
Nashua Handknits Snowbird
146 yards, 100 grams 2 skeins = 146.0 yards (133.5m)

First, I love knitting these.
Second, I add to up my needle to a size 8 to get gauge and knit these to fit. I had a little trouble with the left side pleats and think in the future I will use the right side pleats on both since they seemed easier to line up. My left side DPNs kept slipping out.
Be sure to bind off LOOSELY.
These are great for travel and airplanes since they can fold or roll up small.
I not only thought these were well thought out and comfy but so cute and special. I will be knitting them for christmas presents.
