August 12th: I won’t be able to finish this on time. I’ve just finished the left border and picked up the stitches for the right one. But there’s still also the top border to knit. I’m still happy how quick I could knit the shawl so far. My aim was too high and this time I won’t be standing on the podium.

September 8th After over a year, I finally managed to get this thing blocked. Now it’s finished (and huge). And impossible to photograph. Pictures don’t do justice for this.
