A fairly simple Fair Isle pattern prepared for my first ever night class which begins on Wednesday evening. I have published the pattern and it is available free up to the end of this month. I have used 4 balls altogether of Shetland double knitting wool from Jamieson’s of Shetland. 2 of the main colour and 1 ball each of contrast colours.
I would now like to knit up the pattern in natural colours - maybe Shetland black or Moorit as MC for me to use when dog walking!
These I am gifting to my neice Aimee who is recovering following being seriously ill in the last fortnight - ‘Get Well Soon’ gift.
We have had -9c here which is unusual and the sea was frozen at the top of Ronas Voe. Mittens are much needed!
Elvis our beloved and eccentric large cat wanted to join in the photograhs! So I couldn’t but include a few of him here! He’s almost 12 years old now and very well known amongst the neighbourhood…
