I have made three pairs of gloves from this old and simple, yet very effective Fair Isle chart design. The wool used is Shetland wool bought in the islands. The pair made using the dark brown wool as the main colour, is from Jamieson and Smith Supreme Jumper Weight range. This is a lovely wool which is slightly thicker than the usual jumper weight - only slightly. The wool in this range is dye free.
It will be great to have a variety of gloves to wear :-)
