Notes

This sweater was a joy to knit. Amy’s pattern is beautifully written- easy to follow even for someone who hasn’t knit a pieced sweater in about 10 years!

I loved how all the shaping was done in multiples of 6 so you never have to count your rows, just the cables.

I added about 3 inches of length to the sweater and arms because I wanted it more of a tunic length.

I also grafted the seam at the back neck together because I didn’t want an obvious line there but did use 3 needle bind-off for the shoulder seams to keep that structure.

The yarn is just lovely but I had to switch between balls every other row. If you are using this yarn, I would definitely look carefully your skeins in natural light- all of mine were the same dye lot but the color difference was pretty significant. I had to re-knit half the back and half of a front piece because of the color changes.

Otherwise, the yarn is just amazing- would definitely use it again. I didn’t find alternating rows at all annoying once I got going.
