Notes

I’m doing the smallest size because this yarn is chunkier than the recommended and I can’t get gauge. I don’t want to go down a needle size because then it will be far too stiff a fabric. Using 5.5mm needles.

Well I frogged back to the brim and went up to 7mm needles because the fabric was really stiff and it just didn’t look right. So, brim knitted on 5.5mm and trellis pattern on 7mm.

My first Woolly Wormhead hat and I’m sure there will be many more.

This yarn has a lovely subtle sparkly thread through it which doesn’t show on the photos but in real life it looks like snow when the frost has settled on it. Pretty :-)
