Notes

Important modification in the textured eyelet section: In order to avoid the diamond shape of the shawl I decreased 4 sts on the RS (as in the pattern) and 2 additional sts in every WS row. First decrease after initial k2: p2togtbl, second decrease before final k2: p2tog.
That meant that I had to improvise a little on each Row 2 of the eyelet section, but as the eyelets are regular it was really easy.
The shawl hasn’t any tendency to form a diamond shape, yay!

Measurements after “blocking”: 198x87cm
Blocking wasn’t necessary, I just laid it down without any pins.

Cast on 36 sts more -> 481 sts.

Used needle sizes:
Pleated ruffle: 5,5mm
1st braid: 4mm
Slipped stitch section: 5mm
2nd braid: 4mm
Textured eyelet section: 4,5mm

Knitted the farbergé in a new yarn base which is now available at DyeForYarn.
It’s 212m/100g, so it’s quite a bit heavier than sock weight, which is suggested in the original pattern.
