Pat at Lovin’ Knit Studio wants shop samples of Barbara’s patterns. I have some Liberty Wool (from Lovin’ Knit) to use for a Hat for Sailors hat. So I’m going to knit this up, loan it to Pat for the shop sample, then take it back in November when I need to send it off to the Hats for Sailors group.

Still needs blocking, so final photos after that. (I’m going to shopping for a wig head tomorrow to make blocking and photographing hats easier.)

Blanca (the wig head) is an extra-small (less than 21”/53cm). The hat fits me fine at 22.25” (56.5cm), and there’s enough stretch to fit a larger head. There’s an excellent size chart here.
