Pattern received November 18 and I started to produce this in a variegated yarn. After completing 25 rows, I realised that not only did the pattern completely disappear but using variegated yarn on a project like this was completely wrong.
So I switched to patons big baby 4ply after a few days. Its soft and lovely to work with and the finished blanket looks fabulous! Measures approximately 35 x 26 inches unblocked so perfect for the pram or capsule.
This is, as it was described to the testers, a mindless pattern. The repetitive nature becomes tiresome quickly (if you like challenging patterns) but its a good travel project if you want something to work on that you don’t have to concentrate on too much.
It quickly became my travel project that I worked on when I had a few moments here and there. I almost forgot about being a tester for this until the creator asked me how I was going!!!!
Needless to say, I finished it on time and now my daughter wants me to make a larger version for her!!!
