A sweet, sweet little sweater. The pattern is (of course) well written and extremely clear. This is a quick, easy knit with an utterly delightful outcome.

Just two small mods: 1) I used a lighter weight yarn. I got gauge with it, though, and it made a pleasing fabric, so I went with it. 2) I added buttonholes (and buttons) all the way down.

The “eyes” are Crystalettes--tiny Swarovski crystal buttons. Close-up shot in last photo.

gauge: 26 sts/38 rows per 4 inches on US4 needles (after soaking and machine drying)
