Started these socks three times - once as Naginis, once as toe up Monkeys, and now as cuff-down Monkeys. I’m almost down to the bottom of the leg, about to start the heel.

Update: Riiiiippp! ME: big fat legs. Monkey: too narrow!

I frogged out the leg I’d finished, and started yet again. On US5s this time (yeah, I know, I can hear you now, OMG HUGE needes, but I knit very snugly), and it’s coming along swimmingly. I’m nearly finished with the gusset on Sock #1, and will take pics when I get a chance. I tried out the eye of partridge pattern on the heel flap this time, too (thanks, Sue, for the idea!).

ETA: Finished!! They’re at home, I’m at work, I’ll take pics and post them! I have about 30-40 grams left (and I’m amazed at the leftover!) so I think I’ll be making sweater ornaments out of it.
