Notes

This short (muffler) version of the Loop-D-Loop scarf was worked using one complete skein of boucle yarn, and a little less then half of a skein of sports weight. The texture of these two particular yarns held together makes an absolutely delightful fabric (thick, cuddly and warm) that has to be felt to be believed!

The touchably soft and cosy yarns used to knit this pattern make a substantial yet fashionable accessory which is guaranteed to keep you warm on the coldest of winter days; while helping you to look effortlessly elegant!

The scarf’s construction is delightfully simple so it is a very relaxing fast knit. And for all of us who can never seem to tie our scarves just so, the loop left for you to tuck the end through makes it easy to get it right Every time.

Belles Bouclettes’ yarns and Jackie’s pattern came together with remarkable results, creating an outstanding garment!

About these yarns: the boucle is a 75/25 mohair wool, and the sports weight is a 60/40 mohair wool blend, both are available at Belles Bouclettes.

Belles Bouclettes is a small farm in eastern Ontario Canada, and the mohair comes from their happy herd of angora goats. The yarns are spun in Canadian mills, and this boucle was hand died back at the farm. Their lines of dyed and undyed mohair and llama yarns are fantastic! (For anyone who wants to take their love of fibre into the bath, they also have some fabulous felted goat’s milk soap (along with some other body care produtcs), definitely worth checking out!)
