I need a shawl for when I’m in my office as I am directly under the air conditioner :(

Pattern creates a very open and airy texture, I would like my shawl to be warmer. Changed to the following (always turn at end of each row):

Foundation: Ch 4. Working in fourth ch from hook 3dc, ch1=clusterx3, dc (15st)

Row 1: ch1, sc in ch-1 space, ch3x3, sc in ch-1 space

Row 2: ch4, 2 clusters in each ch3 space, dc in last st

Row 3: ch1, sc in ch-1 space, ch3 accross, sc in ch-1 space

Row 4: ch4, 2 clusters in first ch3 space, 1 cluster in next ch3 space accross, dc in last st

Row 5: same as row 3

Proceed alternating rows 4 and 5, increasing 4 clusters each row 4 repeat (this increases 16 stitches to each even row). End when you reach wanted length. Ch1, turn and sc in each st across. You may need to increase or decrease a few stitches to match pattern.

Proceed to leafy edging. Original pattern creates a very ruffled edging. I prefer to have it less ruffled because it allows you to see the leafy pattern better. Skip 2 sts on previous row instead of 1.
