Hat #1 finished for hat drive.
Followed directions for 12 months to 2 years for a child size hat. I crochet loose and the yarn I used was probably a little thicker than the recommended yarn. I also had to go up a hook size to an I because I could not work this yarn with an H. (These were all user and yarn variations, NOT a problem with the pattern, just previous experience with this yarn and my habit to crochet on the loose side.

Pattern instructions were easy to follow and well written as I have found all the RAKJ patterns I have made. For the flower, I made the “back” flower size for the front flower and chained 15 on the loops for the back flower as I thought the size hat I made looked better with a larger flower.
