A revisit of my One-tone baby cable ribbed shrug. Love wearing the shrug, the yarn was wonderful!

I did the same modifications as before except made the larger size (16”) due to garment being very fitted.

My sister took my original shrug as a going away gift when she moved back to Texas from Alaska. I had to wait to do this project due to a major move to China from Alaska and since the yarn I wanted to use got left behind in storage at a relative’s house.

Lived dangerously by not doing gauge swatch. I had used this yarn on another project and knew how it would behave after blocking (i.e. minimal change in gauge). My gauge never is true so math is always involved. Did the back, blocked the back on 1/16/2013. From there used back as “gauge” and proceeded from there.

Pre-blocked: 20 sts x 25 rows = 4” using US 7
Post-blocked: no change after wet blocking
I’m only off on row gauge, but doable.

Back was CO via long tail on US 9 and followed directions for 16” size.

Body & Sleeves done on US 7

Cuff & Collar done on US 5

For Collar, followed directions for 15” measurements.

Have enjoyed the knitting even though I had to be away from project for 2.5 weeks.
