I used US5 needles and held the yarn double so that he would be nice and thick. I used the non-kitchener stitch seaming methods because my kitchener stitch never looks seamless so why bother. But I think it looks fine even with the seams.
As for the pattern itself, I spent a lot of time transcribing all the charts into written instructions. So many charts! But it was worth it to me to not get confused because I don’t know how to fix mistakes! :D
