ETA 2/12 - left heel is nearly worn through. Next time, reinforce with nylon thread.

LOVE these socks; feel extremely warm on feet and hardwearing.

6 rows = 1”.

When making color changes in ribbing (red to gray), knit the first row rather than knit/purl for ribbing so that purls don’t show through knitting.

Slip knitted stitches on last row of ribbing before switching to stockinette.

Heel length = 3”

Leave 24 stitches on needles after decreasing for toe.
