Notes

I’m making this square for my “Be of Good Cheer” Samplerghan. :o)

I enjoyed making this one-- especially the petals!

I’m not sure my final round (the 3-D stitches on top of… round 2, I think?) turned out perfectly… but it’s still pretty. :o) If you find that bit tricky, you could easily just change colors for round 2 and get some visual pop that way, instead.

I wanted to add some rounds to bring it up to 12 inches, so I borrowed from Maryfairy’s helpful notes. For the inverted V-stitch round, though, I substituted a hdc “granny round”.

45 sts per side on last round (counting each center corner st twice).
