I AM SO THRILLED WITH THIS HAP!! (Yes, I’m screaming about it!!) It was like knitting self-striping socks… I just had to get to the next color. Then, once I got to the center square I felt like I was almost done, so knit, knit, knit!!! If my calculations are right, there are about 90,000 sts in this hap!

The only thing I did differently was to to avoid purling. Since you knit one row and purl the next for part of the pattern, I would get to the end of a knit row, wrap and turn, and then knit back the other way. I’m sure that made the process go faster, since all I had to do was knit, knit, knit! :-)

Bring on the snow so I can wrap up in this baby and relax by the wood stove!
