This is my second monkey.

I am knitting all of the pieces in the round, and I will sew on the arms and legs as for a “jointed” bear. I think I am going to make some dress up clothes for Mango as well, but she is telling me that she has no interest in dance. Hmmm…I have some of the yarn left from the Flower Garden Afghan, so I guess I’ll see what I can come up with. :)

Mango the knitted monkey loves her new wardrobe! She’s even been seen sharing her new frocks with her sister-monkey, Bananas. (Yes, we also thought Bananas was a boy at first, but just look how stunning she is in the pink dancing dress! Clearly, we were mistaken.)
