Finished these in time to give them to DIL with the adult hat I just finished…she LOVED them! Win!

Mods - top of flap decreases, to increase length: decrease 6 evenly, knit plain around, repeat until 10 sts remain, close top with Kitchener stitch.
Thimb: pick up extra sts and knit two rounds.
Work 2x2 rib on thumbs for 16 rounds.
