Notes

I never really thought about why knitting patterns are named the way they are. When a friend asked me why this is called an Upstair scarf, my response was why not.

I am not much of a lace knitter but thought I should try. It wasn’t hard once I can recognize the stitches on the needles and know which row to continue.

Using bamboo cotton means this scarf is a lot heavier and has more drape. It doesn’t look anything like the model scarf/shawl but I like the soft and squishiness of the finished product.

The chart is quite easy to follow although I gravitate towards the written instructions.
