I bought one skein of this yarn to try it out. The verdict: awesome!

I’d heard that it arrives in the skein feeling like cotton and isn’t very nice to knit with, but I didn’t find that to be the case. I thought it felt pleasantly soft and ever-so-slightly fuzzy in the skein, and I had a lovely time knitting it.

It softened considerably after washing, and from wearing for a couple of months it’s developed a delicate halo. It hasn’t bloomed quite as much as I thought it would, but maybe it will with more wear.

The scarf is a tad on the short side, so I would get two skeins for a scarf next time.
