This are all my left overs…. All orphans…Hope to do something with them… Can use them now for learning to join forms.

First all together at the floor…. Then I grouped part of it (most sprang) to be joined together.

And I started to join some paisleys and spirals…. using the Solomon’s knot.

Another play with the Solomon’s knot. Playing with different lengths, more open and more closed and making Solomon’s knot’s picots.
I have made a photo tutorial about joining with the Solomon’s knot at this project page

I joined 3 of my sprang orphans with the hemming stitch.

Another try at joining methods: Connecting with knitting, stitching and looping. First I just picked up some stitches and started knitting using my favorite long and crossed stitch (description of this stitch you can find here) and picking up stitches of a second form. I used my circular needles for this, so that I could see what I was doing. Then I added a third form. This one I stitched to the knitting (See photo). After this I added looping to the 3 sides of the knitting.
