Definitely learn how to knit backwards for this one. It made it sooo much easier and FUN!

Although in the end this afghan will have a lot of money in it, I only have to buy one ball at a time.

1-16-13 -- I bound off the final panel last night!!! Next comes blocking, seaming and the border. It will still be a while but the big part is done!

3-6-14 -- A little more than a year later and the blocking has begun. Panels are blocking to 9” x 21-22”. I can do three at a time and still have room for one person to sit at our only table. Knitting and paraphernalia takes precedence here.

4-13-14 -- Finished blocking!

4-17-14 -- Panels laid out to an approximate 42 x 62. The width doesn’t quite add up because I just laid them out for a visual.

4-25-14 -- A few days ago I finished a slip stitch or single chain border and today I started a crochet shell border. I think it’s a double chain shell with a half double in between. So, so close to being done.

4-26-14 -- Done. What a satisfying experience.
