Notes

Wanted to make this sweater from the moment I saw it. Think it will be a good vacation project while in the Pacific Northwest.

Got off to a slow start:
First attempt - Chewed up by the dog…
Second and third attempts - When knitting in the round, the long tail tubular cast on kept twisting.
Fourth attempt - I took advice from others on Ravelry and knitted it on straight needles for the first few rows and then switched to knitting in the round - worked like a charm!
Glad I persevered because this cast on technique gives the perfect edging to a cowl.

The yarn is knitting up beautifully so far. It is soft, springy and has excellent stitch definition. The dark grey colour has a warmth to it.

Have finally finished (after procrastinating on the sleeves) and very happy with the result. The sweater did grow in length after blocking, so it is longer on me than the designer intended, but will keep me cosy.
