My anniversary cruise to the Bahamas.

Notes
  • Used aluminum needles to make the star stitch easier on my hands and wrists.

  • Kfb for increases.

  • Will use a Yo for buttonholes next time. They stretched out too easily.

Jan 4th- Update: This works great as an ear warmer, too! Just what I needed for this “arctic blast” of below freezing wind chills!

Made this with some leftover cotton. It’s for our anniversary cruise to the Bahamas, so I figured a nice, bright color would be okay.

I LOVE this pattern and will be making more of these bad boys! I got it done in a day and the star stitch turned out so pretty (and super easy). The P3tog was a bit hard on my hands and wrists, but the project was quick so it didn’t really matter. I used two royal blue circa 1980 buttons. They’re awesome.

Go by the bottom picture for true color. Not reallly sure why the middle one ended up looking “minty”.
