After knitting the very thin cotton socks, I wanted something more seasonally appropriate, and knit some thick wooly socks. The Cloudborn was left over from my Tealeaf Cardigan.
After a while and inspired by quiltergirl’s Rye Sock #1 ( click on this link: https://www.ravelry.com/projects/QuilterGirl/rye-3) ,
I decided to have some fun with mosaic knitting instead of keeping the 12 center stitches in garter stitch.
I just love how this worked out! And deciding on different motifs for the 12 center stitches really kept me going. I literally could not put it down and was a bit disappointed when I realized I was done. I had so many more colors to add and motifs to choose from.
Note to self: Next time do color changes in the middle of the back/ sole for easier transition.
