Notes

Mods & Tips:

  • To achieve the elongated crescent shape intended by the designer, you must bind off loosely. I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off and my finished piece blocked out to almost the exact measurements of the schematic.
  • 5-stitch nupps instead of 7-stitch. Work them really loose and you’ll have no troubling with the p5tog.
  • Knitted cast on with a double strand of yarn (stretchy!)
  • Slipped the first st of each short row. (I think it looks neater.)

FYI: The top edge and the ends of this scarf curl like crazy. It can’t be stopped so don’t waste your time trying. Embrace it.

5/31 - Blocking.
5/31 - Ready to bind off!
5/30 - Fast! I’m done with the chart already.
