Using a circular needle and magic loop. This is going really fast, I can’t tell if it’s because of the circular needle or if the pattern is easier than the last socks I made. (Or if I’m just getting faster at knitting.)

Easy pattern with a beautiful result. Love the Chestnut yarn - many shades of brown with a speck of red here and there.

4/22 finished the first cuff, started the heel. 24 rows for heel flap. Picked up 14 st on each side for gusset(15 with the make 1)

4/19 cast on

When I make this pattern again - I’ll make a longer heel flap. It’s a little tight around the ankle to get on and off.
I also didn’t realize my needle is a 2.5mm even though it’s labelled as US size 1.
