3/24/12 I knew Laura back when we were quilters. Because of her inspiration, I am back to knitting. I love this new shawl, and trust her imagination enough that I am going with the pink/brown color. I just ordered the wool, and this is on my to do list.

Decided to do the Mad May KAL, since it is Laura’s first and I have everything ready to go..

May1 - knitted all day. Finished the ruffle and a couple of rows of beading
May 2 - finished beaded section
May 3- I have finished 5 repeats of the top section
May 4- couldn’t put it down. Finished at 12:30am
blocked it this afternoon. I don’t think I have ever finished a shawl so quickly. That’s what the week after knee surgery does for me. I had nothing better to do than knit and watch apple tv.
