Because I know that there are sometimes unexpected surprises with Noro, I’ve begun winding my Kureyon skeins into center pull balls before I begin a project. In this case, it’s kind of critical that one uses a ball winder (rather than winding it by hand) so you can see the progression of colors. This is also a great way to find out if there are any knots in the skein. Don’t be afraid to cut out undesirable colors! I’m happy to report that out of 12 skeins, only two had knots. I was able to spit-splice one and the other I had just enough yarn before the knot to make the next color change.
