Proposal for Spring OWL

History Of Magic - Option 3: Students must produce evidence that they did not sleep through all of Prof. Binns’s lectures. Demonstrate an awareness of wizardly fashions through time by knitting or crocheting a wearable item, such as a House sweater.

Since I already own Alison Hansel’s “Charmed Knits”, I purchased 15 skeins of Garnet Heather Wool of the Andes and 5 skeins of Golden Heather Wool of the Andes to create my very own Quidditch sweater!

However, I want to create this as close to movie-reference as possible, so I will be adding gold rows at the base of body and at the cuffs (as seen in the photos of Ron at the dining table) which the pattern does not include.

As well, since the team also have Gryffindor patches on their chests, I will also sew a patch on mine - one of the two I got in 2013 from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando.

Never did get this done for the OWL - did maybe 10% then set it aside all summer. Finished it in 2 weeks in September!
