Notes

Keeping mum about exactly what I am creating until I can confirm it’s going to work! Something I am designing myself with this awesome rainbow cotton yarn…

Okay, now that it is finally finished - I can now re-name my project as my Rainbow Scarf.

Nope, that just won’t do, because Marlicia of the Pen Hook and Needles Podcast just came up with an even better name: The Rainbow SNAKE Scarf! Because it started out with long “snakes” of pieced knitting, this is brilliant! Thank you Marlicia!

Since I didn’t like the pooling created by knitting straight across, I made each column of rainbow section from 1 ball of the cotton yarn. Then I had to find out how the heck to join them together! So I searched YouTube and found a video showing how to crochet two pieces of knitting together. The final step was to garter stitch two outer sides to keep the stockinette sections from rolling.

Final size (unblocked) 7” wide by 95” long! (not including fringe).
