I modified LadyMerewen’s edging chart to get a repeat of 16 rows, also thinking of moving the beads to the edge, pulling a random color each row. Maybe skip beads on the edge, need to test.

Charting software is the knitting library in xfig, figured it out, fixed up the chart.

July 15: started on the edge chart - and thought I had a problem in it. Three of the first six times knitting it I couldn’t follow directions and ended up with the wrong number of stitches. I think the chart is OK, though.

I put beads all around the outside edge, in the darkest blue so they are almost invisible. Making the chart come out to a 16-row repeat didn’t work out for me in that I didn’t end where I should have. Don’t tell anyone!
