3/30 Just have the ends to weave in. I love the drape of this yarn---so soft. I had one flaw that I did not fix: one of the wedges has one fewer stitches than the rest. I discovered it halfway through, but just kept going. If anyone finds it, I’ll be surprised.

3/11/14 I’ve made it to row 22. I have to be more cautious about my stitches. Too many times I forget to do the 2DC, or I forget the inc shell! Woe is me. I’d probably be done by now. Sorry for the lousy photo.

3/5/14 The joke’s on me. I was so excited to hook this, so when the yarn arrived I began right away. I got through the first 12 rows, and I laid it out to photograph it. I couldn’t get it to lay just right, and that’s when I noticed it---I have 5 wedges on one side and 4 on the other! I was so careful to count the first row that I don’t know how this has happened. Argh. At least I am just at the beginning.

So far the pattern is easy to follow. I’m using a DK wt yarn, so I guessed on the hook size. We’ll just have to see how big it turns out.
Addendum to 3/5: I discovered my mistake on row 5 when I crocheted into the first dc of the shell creating an additional space.
