Gauge:

• 32 sts x 44 rnds = 4” in stockinette
• 42 sts x 44 rnds = 4” in rib (6.5” leg circumference, 7.5” foot circumference)

Since my row gauge was larger than the pattern’s, I worked 26 heel flap rows instead of 28 rows for a 2.25” long heel flap.

Instead of working a Dutch heel I used the 35-st round heel turn from Calamint - 21 sts after heel turn. I picked up 16 sts on each side of the heel flap for a total of 86 gusset sts.

Heel Turn:
-Sl 1, k19, ssk, k1, turn
-Sl 1, p6, p2tog, p1, turn
-Continue until all sts are worked - 21 sts, 14 rows

I grafted the toe sts sideways for a mitten toe instead of threading the yarn through the sts.

Sock Measurements:

• Circumference: 8.5” (68 sts)
• Gusset Circumference: 10.75” (86 sts)
• Leg Length: 7”
• Cuff Length: 1.75”
• Heel Length: 2.25” (26 rows)
• Foot Length: 10”
• Heel to Toe: 8”
