Notes

Can’t resist a striped baktus in neutral tones - one to go with everything.

update: much slower going with the thin wool compared to the thick wool I used in the olive leaf baktus, highly satisfying watching the stripes emerge, I love the variation in the stovepipe yarn from pale shades to dark….more blue than the gray I had thought it was initially, oh well still happy with it so far.

Finished!!! it took a while, with some seriously dedicated knitting over the last week I have happily finished - ready for the cold Autumn weather upon us. I have been dreaming of new colour combinations and have 2 more Baktus planned - then I may graduate form beginner knitter and try something more challenging.

If I can bear to go without this around my neck I will block it soon. Meanwhile my neck is delightfully cosy.

My first completed project!

Blocked, wow it’s so silky and soft now - lovely.
