Splitting for the sleeves

Just (about) finished my third skein.
Note to self: sleeves are knit flat. Beginning left sleeve, joined yarn at the beginning of the RS (knit) row, casting on 3 stitches before working a row, and then adding 3 more after working row 1

Blocked and almost dry! Hoping to seam the underarms and sleeves today if it dries. And then I’ll need to get are buttons!

Note to self: My gauge was spot on pre-blocking, and everything grew about 1” in length with blocking, which is actually preferable. I still can’t believe that I sized down TWO needle sizes to get gauge.

seamed everything together today. I forgot how satisfying mattress stitch is! I just need to pull out my thread to sew on the buttons and then it will be 100% done.

I’m finally done and it’s FANTASTIC. Had to chase all over town for one. more. button. but it was so worth it. The fit is perfect. And per my gauge, my FO is exactly the measurements of the pattern’s stated dimensions for the 33 1/4 size. I’ll add more photos once I have a chance to take some.
