Notes

Rather than knitting this with sock weight yarn as the pattern suggested, I knit this in a sport weight yarn.

8/30/14-- beginning this as a stash busting (non-hat) project, because I need a little break from hats :)
9/6/14--24 teeth completed. Switching to 2nd skein. Enjoying knit so far, super easy, but it’s nice to have a mindless project sometimes.
10/24/14--All done! Used all but a few yards of the yarn. Finished 41 teeth (in sport weight yarn). Just needs to be blocked.

The Pattern
Well-written, super easy, and easy to memorize once you know what happens the beginning/end of all those long rows of garter stitch.

The Yarn
It’s really soft, but it got “fluffy” much faster than I expected it to. By the time I finished this, the first segment I knit was really fuzzy looking (not altogether a bad thing--that’s kind of “the look” with this yarn).

Overall Impressions
This is a nice pattern, but I dragged my feet on it so much. I love garter stitch, but that much in sport weight got pretty boring.

The FO
Love it. Super wearable, and with my loose knitting, it has great drape. It should have even more drape after blocking.
