Notes

1:31 PM - Stick a fork in it! I still can’t find the butter yarn but I’m not holding my breath. The dogs may have it. Since this is a toasty scarf, I’m leaving a few slices dry for now.

For the jelly I just free-formed a couple of appliques and needle-felted one. I did 3 jelly + butter slices and 5 butter only slices.

1:11 PM - I haven’t been working on it all day, but now I have jelly & butter on my toast chain. But I can’t find the butter yarn! Only 8 more pats to go!

1-3-11 - I woke up and started stitching toasts. Two more to go!

9:36 PM - As much as this scarf is truly enjoyable, I need a break! I’ve got 11 toasts joined, with 4 more to go. I have to admit, I’m darning in a lot more ends than I usually do. However, I could modify that for the next one.

I’m planning to put butter on every slice and jelly on three of the slices on the ends. I’ll have grape, raspberry, and a fruity blend.

7:47 PM - It’s Sunday Night live blogging, y’all! All the toasts are done and I’m going to sew them together before adorning my toasties with butter and jam.

Before I thought I would add an end crust piece, in other words, an all brown one, but I don’t think I will. We’ll see.

7:12 PM - I have 11 crusts done and 4 to go. Watching Dave Chapelle’s Block Party with Mom and Dad. The dogs are wrestling on the couch. Life is good.

6:38 PM - I have 7 crusts done and 8 to go!

1-2-11 - I did a few crusts this morning. This scarf is getting yummier and yummier!

1-1-11 - I was very excited to start this scarf! I completed most of it in the car on the way back from San Miguel de Allende. Right now the bread has the crusts cut off, but soon I’ll be adding them, butter, and jelly! YUM!
