Ears from the Adventure Time Bonnet pattern. The weird CO then increases are necessary to make the ears the right shape to hold the ears up. As noted by another maker of the bonnet, you stuff then stitch the ears on OPEN in a circle, else they won’t stand up. The longer part should point down the side/back of head (depending where exactly on the head you stick them). I had my child stand still wearing the bonnet while I stitched them in place using a blunt wool needle.

Chin strap - pick up 15, use same dec pattern as given, down to 7 stitches, garter stitch till strap about 10cm long, made up my own button hole (needed it larger for little fingers to manage) and then did some decreases to shape end of strap. Made other side the same, only without the button hole.
