I am test knitting this for Blacker Yarns using natural shades. The main body colour is their Cornish Tin 4ply with white Polwarth and brown Ryeland.

The patterns is very easy to follow and I love the texture. I knitted it as written, but changed colours during the last three repeats to add some bolder stripes.

The border is lovely - nice and deep and fun to knit.

After blocking, the shawl measures 73 inches at its widest point, and 24 inches deep. Gauge was 16 stitches by 30 rows on 5.5 needles.
