Notes

Pattern calls for sport weight yarn & I have worsted weight, so I need to make changes so the scarf isn’t too long.

I did not slip the first stitch as instructed. I knit it. This makes the perfect bump to later use when picking up stitches

I don’t understand why the directions say to bind off & then pick up those same stitches. I am just knitting an extra row & leaving the stitches live until I get back to them. See photo of scarf with all side on needles, all stitches live & waiting for their turn to be used again…. much easier this way.

Mods:
Section 1…
Line 10: changed to 54 rows
Line 14: changed to 36 rows

Section 2…
Lines 3 & 4: changed to 12 rows & I did not BO (stitches left on the needle for later)

Section 3…
Lines 3 & 4: changed to 50 rows & again did not bind off, stitches left live.

Section 4…
Lines 3 & 4: changed to 6 rows & again did not bind off. Stitches left live

Section 5…
Line 3: changed to 24 rows
Line 5: changed to 30 rows

Bind off: I bound off only for final borders using my standard BO method not the one in the directions.
