Using notes from my first Slable and learning from that one. (1st one knitted up way too large). To make this one much smaller using US#1 needle for the ribbing & US#2 for the body & keeping the knitting on the tight side.

2.5” of ribbing
Knit rounds 1-18 once & 1-17 once then began decreases at row 6

Came out much smaller & still has the right amount of slouch.

Just needs to be washed so that the bison yarn blooms & softens.

Had about 10 yards of yarn left over

UPDATE: once washed this grew … so once again the hat is too big. Lucky for my supervisor who has a bigger head & this fits him perfectly.
