01.07.2014 - 3 sections complete. The pattern is quite intuitive, great for TV knitting. I’ve been twisting the yarn at the end of each row so that I can carry the unused strand along the work and not have as many ends to weave in. I’m also doing this since the pattern calls for multiple hanks of hand-dyed yarn, so I would be doing this with a single color anyway.

01.09.2014 - 4 sections complete. I’m still buzzing along with this pattern, and looking forward to the bigger garter sections…

01.10.2014 - 5 sections complete. Enjoying the pattern, and the fact that I’m test knitting for a friend!

01.15.2014 - I’m almost done with section 6, and I’ve posted a photo. It’s all scrunched on the needle, but you can see the texture/colors coming together. I’m very happy with the yarn choice.

01.18.2014 - I just finished section 7. I’ve got two left, and they should be quick (even if they’re long), since they are mostly garter. Hooray!

01.21.2014 - I’m almost finished with section 8. I’m excited to see the FO!

01.23.2014 - Finished with the spinach! Now it’s garter until the end! It seems like I’ll be a few rows short of tern, so I’m going to stripe in some tosh merino light that I have leftover from my Bolt Shawl, in the same color. The base is a little lighter in color, but should blend just fine since it’s garter. I think my hank of tosh sock may have been a little light to begin with anyway.

01.24.2013 - I’m finished! I used JSSBO to bind-off for sufficient stretchiness. I’ve got a pre-blocking picture up, and will post more once it’s (a) pinned and then (b) dry and ready to wear.
